ALC (Athlete Leadership Council) meetings are a minimum of 4/year. Watch for postings! Usually the meetings take place at Fresh Thyme, West Lafayette, and the Community Room.

MAR 2024 … Spring sports callout @ the annual Athlete Sports Banquet!

MAR … Basketball tournament play!

MAR, mid-month … Swimming practices begin Sunday, March 17, 1-3pm @ Lafayette Jefferson H.S. pool for about 10-11 Sundays. NO swimming on Easter Sunday.

APR … Bocce, Cycling, Track & Field practices begin. Information was handed out at the CallOut meeting of February 25-2024. Check with your respective coaches!

APR 20-21 … Spring ALU, Butler University, Indianapolis IN

MAY 18 … Area 4 Spring Games competitions

JUN 7,8,9 … SOIN State Summer Games, Terre Haute IN & Rose Hulman

After Summer Games … Golf practices begin before Summer Games, but Cornhole, Softball, Flag Football, Distance Run Walk (DRW) will mostly likely begin after.

SEP … Bowling begins Sunday after Labor Day weekend, 1-3:30 @ Market Square Lane

AUG / SEP … EKS Games take place @ various locations

OCT … Fall ALU, Butler University, Indianapolis, IN

OCT … SOIN State Conference

NOV … Area 4 Bowling tournament

DEC, 1st Weekend … State Bowling tournament, Indianapolis

NOV late or DEC … Basketball practices begin

Athlete Leadership Council:

Watch for communication from Tippe’s athlete leaders at a minimum of 4/year and no more than 8/year – Athlete Leadership Council (ALC) will meet quarterly otherwise. NO December meeting *NOTE* Notices will be sent!

# SOTC Fitness Club:

Meets as follows … every Wednesday evening @ 4pm (7pm in summer months; virtually in winter months/bad weather) AND Saturdays @ 10am (summer months) or 1pm for walking at various locations within the Greater Lafayette Area.  Lynne Buckley Noble of Polar Plunge fame and athlete Jennifer Hoover created this fitness group.  Some of the walking locations have been Munger Park, LAF; Cumberland Park, W.LAF / W.LAF Wellness Ctr parking lot; Celery Bog, W.LAF; Happy Hollow Park, W.LAF.  AND sometimes Tippecanoe Mall for inclement weather.

The Aktion Club of Wabash River — [ not operating at present ]
 … received its charter November 21, 2002! … and is a community-service group for adult citizens who live with a disability.  The Aktion Club meets the third Thursday of each month, 4:30 p.m. at Elmwood Church of Christ (2501 Elmwood, Lafayette across from Market Square Shopping Center).
